The Dreamer Behind the Verse

My name is Susan Hamilton. I have been happily married for 37 years and am blessed with three children, seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. I am retired after working many years in banking and am the daughter of an Idaho logger. I enjoy music, painting, spending time with family, watching movies, and being in nature—especially fishing or relaxing by a lake. Music plays a special role in my life as I play piano, sing, and serve as the music director at my church.

I wrote this book after receiving my grandmother’s handwritten poems from my aunt. I wanted to preserve and share her beautiful work as a legacy for our family and future generations, so that her words written from the heart can be read and enjoyed by all.
